HFS is a file server that uses HTTP Protocol. Since 2006 I have been working on templates for it, even creating a project team and board within the forum community known as
RAWR-Designs.
Below is an outline of the current templates. HFS Templates use a mixture of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Flash and some HFS specific code to create powerful file serving websites.
RAWR-Template:
A hybrid between the ToG and Terayon. It was the first major distributed template for HFS to fully make use of the macro system. This new template technology has provided the HFS template engine with more power and versatility. Macro has given us the power to provide simple server side scripts. This template currently supports 6 themes and 12 languages.
Thunderchicken of Glory:
Known by many as the 'ToG', this is a lightweight, feature packed template. The template is based very loosely on the layout of http://www.isohunt.com, all respects go to the creators of that layout. This template has been around since 2006 and is still going strong. It now supports most of the features of RAWR-Template, some have been put aside to improve performance.
Live:
Originally designed by Alvaro Quezada. 2 years after the project was abandoned we took the reigns and made a simpler version of the template, with the authors permission. Our version is lighter, easier to manage, more accessible to everyday users. It is completely designed using CSS and DIV's. This Microsoft inspired template makes any HFS look the piece.
Terayon:
Not directly my template, however I do maintain the code and help guide the design of its layout. The template was initially based off a phpBB theme, it was translated to work with HFS.
